Nearby Plockton is a picturesque, small village on the shores of Loch Carron. It sits on a point (“ploc”) with the Applecross Peninsula to the north and the Isle of Skye to the west. Plocton has a mild climate - even palm trees grow here! - which adds to the popularity of the region for holidays. Plockton village has many small shops, galleries and fabulous eating places. The BBC TV series 'Hamish Macbeth' which starred Robert Carlyle, was filmed in Plockton so you may recognise it!
Visit the Talisker Distillery or one of the many artist studios or enjoy a meal at the world famous Three Chimneys restaurant. Swim and picnic at the enchanting Fairy Pools.
Availability.
The cottage is rented out throughout the year. Change over day is Saturday, checkout by 10am on day of departure. Short breaks are available out of season.
